Graduates are responsible for claiming their allotted tickets through the college’s commencement portal. For those visiting from out of town who cannot attend in person, the college will provide a high-definition live stream of the North Central College Graduation on their official YouTube channel.
Parking and Traffic in Downtown Naperville
With thousands of visitors expected for the North Central College Graduation, parking will be at a premium. The college encourages guests to utilize:
- The indoor parking pavilion on campus.
- The parking deck near the RES/REC center.
- Public parking lots north of Chicago Avenue.
- Downtown Naperville parking garages on Van Buren and Chicago Ave.
Please allow an extra 45 minutes for travel to account for road closures and heavy foot traffic near Brainard Street and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Featured Commencement Speaker: Dr. Michael Lamb
This year, the college is honored to welcome Dr. Michael Lamb, a renowned scholar on virtues in public life, to address the graduating class. His insights on character and leadership are expected to provide a powerful send-off for the Class of 2026 as they transition from students to alumni.
Commencement Weekend Festivities
The Sunday ceremony is the highlight of a full weekend of celebration. Other key events include the Senior Social on Thursday, April 30, at Frankie’s Blue Room and the mandatory graduation rehearsal on Friday evening.
