Granger Middle School

Granger Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 in Indian Prairie School District 204. Its official name on state records is Francis Granger Middle School. The building is at 2721 Stonebridge Boulevard in Aurora, and as with the district’s other schools the mailing address does not describe the attendance area, which reaches into Naperville.

Granger is home of the Grizzlies. District 204’s subdivision list routes five elementary schools into it: Brooks, Young, Steck, Cowlishaw and Brookdale. Cowlishaw and Brookdale both split their subdivisions with other middle schools, so the elementary school a child attends does not by itself determine that Granger follows.

The district’s official list assigns 39 subdivisions to Granger. Its footprint runs along the Eola Road corridor and the Butterfield, Oakhurst and Country Lakes areas, and it is more Aurora-weighted than Still’s: examples include Stonebridge Country Club, Butterfield, Oakhurst North, Atwater, The Enclave at Country Lakes, Trails of Country Lakes, Harris Farm, Madison Park and Yorkshire Square. Assignments follow the address rather than the subdivision name, so confirm a specific property against the district’s current list.

Unlike Still, Granger does not split at the high school level. All 39 subdivisions the district assigns to Granger continue to Metea Valley High School, so for a Granger household the high school follows without a second lookup.
