The City of Aurora’s 8th annual Aurora Pooch Parade invites residents and visitors from Naperville and beyond to Wilder Park & Promenade for a morning of furry friends, vendors and lighthearted competition.

Looking for things to do in Naperville this weekend that feel fresh yet familiar? The Aurora Pooch Parade delivers exactly that. Located at 350 N. River St. in Aurora…just minutes from downtown Naperville via I-88 or Ogden Avenue…the event lets you enjoy a change of scenery without leaving the area you love.
What to Expect at the 8th Annual Event
Arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. for check-in if your dog is registered. From 10:00 a.m. to noon, explore pet vendors, grab coffee or a bite from food vendors, and snap photos at the on-site booth. The parade and category judging kick off at 11:00 a.m. and run through noon.
- All participating dogs must be current on rabies vaccination and remain on a standard leash
- Aggressive or reactive dogs are not permitted
- Spectators and non-registered dogs are welcome to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere
