A Holiday Happening Craft and Art Fair at College of DuPage

As the holiday season approaches, shoppers across DuPage County are looking for ways to shop local and support talented makers. A Holiday Happening Craft and Art Fair at College of DuPage offers exactly that: a festive, handmade craft show where you can find unique gifts during a relaxed weekend outing.

Whether you’re a Naperville local seeking fresh ideas for your holiday list or a visitor exploring the area, this show of work by artisans from across the Midwest is a short drive from downtown Naperville.

A Short Drive from Naperville

A Holiday Happening takes place in nearby Glen Ellyn, at the College of DuPage PEC Arena. Craft Productions, Inc. calls it its largest holiday show and describes it as featuring over 200 booths of crafts, showcasing the work of talented artisans from across the Midwest just in time for holiday gift-giving.

• Handmade gifts, jewelry, festive decor, clothing, bath and body items, kids’ items, and much more
• Work the organizer describes as hand poured, hand built, hand shaped, hand knit, hand cut, hand felted and hand carved
• In the organizer’s words, “Named one of the Top 20 classic & contemporary craft shows in the US by Sunshine Artist Magazine”

What to Expect at A Holiday Happening Craft and Art Fair

Inside the PEC Arena, you can browse the booths at your own pace and meet the makers behind the work. The organizer calls the show a festive tradition for local craft shoppers.

The event runs Saturday and Sunday, November 7 and 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, giving you plenty of time to explore and check items off your gift list.

Practical Tips for Your Visit

Planning ahead makes the experience even smoother. Admission is $7 on the day of the event, or $5 for an early bird ticket through November 6, 2026; youth under 16 get in free when accompanied by a paying adult. Parking is free. The organizer says to enter from College Rd, just west of Park Blvd, and notes that the PEC Arena offers ADA compliant parking, doors, and restrooms.

• Craft Productions, Inc. is partnering with Glen House Food Pantry for a food drive throughout the weekend, so consider bringing donations of shelf-stable food when you arrive
• Service dogs are welcome; pets are prohibited

Plan Your Day

Glen Ellyn is a short drive from Naperville, so it is easy to pair a morning of holiday shopping at the fair with dinner back in downtown Naperville.
