Comic Club at 95th Street Library

Naperville families looking for an engaging midweek activity have a great option at the 95th Street Library. On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Naperville Public Library invites young readers to dive into the world of comics, graphic novels, and manga.

This session is designed specifically for students in grades 2 through 5. It offers a welcoming space to explore favorite titles, discover new artists, and experiment with creating original characters and stories.

One of the Best Things to Do in Naperville

The Comic Club stands out among local options because it combines learning with creativity in a relaxed library setting. Kids who enjoy visual storytelling get the chance to connect with peers who share the same interests while building skills that extend beyond the page.

Located in south Naperville, the 95th Street Library serves as a convenient hub for families across DuPage County. The program fits easily into evening routines without requiring travel to downtown Naperville or other crowded spots.

What to Expect at Comic Club

Participants will discuss beloved comics, graphic novels, and manga while learning about the creators behind them. The session also encourages attendees to develop their own characters and stories, turning inspiration into original work.

The format keeps things interactive and age-appropriate for grades 2-5, fostering discussion and hands-on creativity in a supportive environment led by library staff.

Why This Event Appeals to Local Families

Naperville parents appreciate programs that spark imagination without screens. Comic Club provides that balance by celebrating print and visual media that many kids already enjoy at home or school.

The library’s central role in the community makes events like this a natural extension of everyday life in the area, whether families live near the Riverwalk or further south.

• Focus on favorites and new discoveries
• Opportunities to create original characters
• Peer interaction in a structured setting

Plan Your Visit and Confirm the Latest Details

Before leaving home, open the official organizer listing and check that the schedule and entry instructions still match your plans. A listing gives you a place to start, but a reservation, ticket purchase or numbered admission ticket may be a separate step. Follow the instructions for this particular session rather than relying on the rules for another program at the same venue.

Keep the event address and your confirmation, if one is required, available on your phone. If you need information about accessible entry, seating, participation requirements or accommodations, contact the organizer before attending. For a children’s or teen program, check the stated age or grade range with the participant. That small amount of preparation helps you choose an activity that fits and gives you time to resolve questions before the scheduled start.
