Share Your Event with the Naperville Community

Whether you're hosting a concert, festival or a farmers market popup, a neighborhood block party, or a workshop at the library, this is where Naperville shows up to discover what's happening. From the historic streets of downtown to the rolling greens of the south side, we feature events that help locals and visitors experience everything this community has to offer.

All event submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. We prioritize events that are:

  • Open to the public or clearly define their audience
  • Located in Naperville or the surrounding area
  • Accurate, complete, and family-friendly (when applicable)

Once approved, your event will appear in our searchable events calendar and may be featured in our curated event guides and newsletter.

How to Submit Your Event

Complete All 6 Steps

This form walks you through everything we need to list your event properly. You'll provide:

  1. Event details - Title, desrciptions, and what makes it special
  2. Event basics - Dates, times, and whether it's a one-time or recurring event
  3. Ticket details - Pricing and where to buy tickets (if applicable)
  4. Organizer and venue - Who's hosting and where it's happening
  5. Media - Photos that capture the vibe of your event
  6. Additional links - Social media, registration pages, or related info

Before you start:

  • Have your event details ready (dates, times, venue address)
  • Prepare a short description (2 to 4 sentences works best)
  • Upload at least one high-quality photo (landscape format, 1600×900 pixels or larger recommended)
  • Include any ticket links, registration URLs, or social media profiles

Step-by-Step Guide

Event  Details

Event Title - Keep it clear and specific (e.g., "Live Jazz at Frankie's Blue Room" instead of just "Live Music").

Summary - Write 2 to 4 sentences that explain what the event is, who it's for, and why someone should attend. This is what people will see in search results and calendar listings.

Event Basics

Start and End Date/Time - Be as specific as possible. If your event runs all day, toggle the "All Day" option.

Timezone - Defaults to America/Chicago (Central Time). Adjust if needed.

Recurrence - Is this a one-time event, or does it repeat? Select the pattern that fits.

Tickets

Ticket URL - Link directly to where people can purchase or register.
Price Range - Enter the minimum and maximum ticket price. If it's free, enter 0 for both.

Organizer & Venue

Organizer Name, Email, Phone - Who should people contact with questions?
Venue - If the venue is already in our system (like Naperville Riverwalk or Centennial Beach), select it from the dropdown. Otherwise, enter the venue name and address manually.

Age Restriction - All ages, 13+, 18+, or 21+? Let attendees know.

Media

Hero Image - Upload a landscape photo that represents your event. This is required and will be the main image people see.

Gallery - Add up to 10 additional photos to give people a sense of what to expect.

Additional Info

SameAs Links - Add links to your event page on Facebook, Eventbrite, Meetup, or any other platform where it's listed. This helps us verify details and improve search visibility.
Location Tags - If your event connects to a specific Naperville neighborhood or audience type, we'll use that to feature it in the right context.
Event Type & Audience - Select categories (Art, Concert, Food & Drink, Kids & Family, etc.) and audience tags (Families, Foodies, Date Night, etc.) so people can filter and find your event easily.

After You Submit

Our team reviews every submission within 2 to 3 business days. We'll reach out if we need clarification or additional details. Once approved, your event will go live on Naperville.com and may be featured in:

  • Our main events calendar
  • Curated event guides (e.g., "Best Weekend Events in Naperville")
