Centennial Beach is a unique 6-acre swimming facility in a historic quarry holding 6.2 million gallons of chlorinated Lake Michigan water. Features zero-depth entry, sand beach, water play features, diving boards, and depths up to 15 feet. A Naperville tradition since 1931.​

About the PLACE

Centennial Beach is a historic outdoor aquatic facility operated by the Naperville Park District, offering a unique swimming and recreation experience in the heart of downtown Naperville. Built in a former quarry, the facility features filtered spring-fed water, sandy beach areas, diving boards, water slides, and designated swimming zones that make it feel more like a natural lake than a traditional pool. It has been a summertime landmark in Naperville for generations.

Open seasonally, Centennial Beach serves residents and visitors with lap swimming, family recreation, swim lessons, special events, and private rentals. Lifeguard supervision, concessions, and modern amenities help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all ages.
