About the PLACE
The Naperville Police Department is suspending enforcement of the City’s overnight parking ordinance for the upcoming holidays to accommodate out-of-town guests and individuals who may choose to use an alternative mode of transportation home after a party/gathering.
Vehicles can park overnight on City streets beginning Monday, Dec. 22, and continuing through New Year’s Day. Enforcement will begin again at 2 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. If it snows, however, residents and guests are asked to refrain from parking on the streets to allow City snowplows to properly clear the roads.
