Crafternoon: Book Witch at Naper Blvd. Library

Spooky season brings a hands-on creative opportunity to Naperville residents and visitors at the Naper Blvd. Library. On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the library hosts Crafternoon: Book Witch, where you can fold pages into an adorable witch craft using book-folding techniques.

This free event organized by the Naperville Public Library suits adults looking for a relaxed afternoon of crafting. No registration is required, though space is limited to the first 20 participants, so arriving early helps secure your spot.

Why You Can’t Miss Crafternoon: Book Witch at Naper Blvd. Library

Book-folding transforms ordinary pages into three-dimensional art, and this session channels that skill into a whimsical Halloween-themed witch. The activity fits perfectly into Naperville’s fall calendar, offering a creative break amid the season’s events around the Riverwalk and downtown area.

Held at the south-side Naper Blvd. Library at 2035 S. The library’s location makes it convenient for those exploring DuPage County spots like Naper Settlement or Century Walk.

What to Expect

You will spend the two-hour session learning and applying book-folding methods to create your witch. The organizer describes it simply as a spooky-season craft focused on the technique, with all participants working at their own pace in a shared space.

The setting remains low-pressure and social, ideal for trying something new or revisiting a favorite hobby. Expect to work with book pages as your primary material while guided through the folding steps.

How to Participate

Attendance is first-come, first-served with no advance registration. The event caps at 20 people, so plan to arrive at the Naper Blvd. Library with time to spare before the 1:00 PM start.

The program runs exactly from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on October 28, 2026. Because it is free and open to adults, you can focus on the craft itself without additional fees or sign-up steps.

Plan Your Visit and Confirm the Latest Details

Before leaving home, open the official organizer listing and check that the schedule and entry instructions still match your plans. A listing gives you a place to start, but a reservation, ticket purchase or numbered admission ticket may be a separate step. Follow the instructions for this particular session rather than relying on the rules for another program at the same venue.

Keep the event address and your confirmation, if one is required, available on your phone. If you need information about accessible entry, seating, participation requirements or accommodations, contact the organizer before attending. For a children’s or teen program, check the stated age or grade range with the participant. That small amount of preparation helps you choose an activity that fits and gives you time to resolve questions before the scheduled start.
