ORGANIZATION

Take a mindful pause from the busy week and immerse your senses in the healing tranquility of nature during Forest Bathing at McDonald Farm, taking place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Hosted by The Conservation Foundation at their scenic 60-acre headquarters in Naperville, this guided eco-wellness session offers a peaceful escape into native autumn landscapes.

What is Forest Bathing?

Also known as Shinrin-Yoku—a practice originating in Japan—forest bathing is an immersive, slow-paced experience in nature. Rather than a traditional hike or fitness walk, participants are guided by a certified facilitator to mindfully connect with the outdoors through all five senses. Slow down, breathe in fresh autumn air, listen to rustling leaves, and experience the proven mental and physical health benefits of nature therapy.
