Naperville Community Shredding Event 2026

Protect your identity and declutter your home! Join the Naperville Park District for a free, drive-thru document shredding event at Centennial Beach. Safely dispose of up to two boxes of sensitive paperwork.

Spring cleaning is in full swing! The Naperville Park District, in partnership with local community organizations, is hosting a Community Shredding Event to help residents securely dispose of confidential documents.

Important Details:

Note: This event will run until the shredding trucks reach capacity, so early arrival is highly recommended!

Limit: Each household is limited to two boxes of paper for shredding.

Drive-Thru Only: For efficiency and safety, this is a drive-thru event. Please remain in your vehicle; volunteers will assist with unloading your boxes from the trunk or backseat.

What to Shred: Bring old tax returns, bank statements, or any documents containing personal information. No need to remove staples or small paperclips.
