Thanksgiving Day 2026 in Naperville

Gather with family, friends, and the community to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Naperville! Whether you are keeping traditions alive or starting new ones, Naperville offers a warm, festive atmosphere to reflect on what we are most grateful for this year.

As a cornerstone of the fall season, Thanksgiving in Naperville is more than just a meal—it’s a citywide celebration of community spirit. From morning activities to evening feasts, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

What to Expect:

• The Annual Turkey Trot: Start your morning by burning some calories and giving back at the traditional Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot. It’s a fantastic way to energize your day alongside thousands of fellow residents.
• Local Dining & Takeout: Not feeling like cooking? Several of Downtown Naperville’s premier restaurants will be offering special Thanksgiving prix-fixe menus or catered “feast-to-go” packages. (Be sure to make reservations well in advance!)
• Autumn Strolls: After the big meal, take a scenic family walk along the Naperville Riverwalk, enveloped in the lingering crisp air and beautiful late-fall foliage.
• Community Giving: Embrace the true meaning of the holiday by volunteering or donating to local food pantries like Loaves & Fishes to help ensure everyone in our community has a reason to give thanks.

Take a moment to relax, enjoy the company of loved ones, and experience the warmth of the Naperville community this Thanksgiving.
